so yesterday i was sad because of my lack of being able to go on my ski trip. then I felt better because I got to hang out with golden and princess and cream and we had fun and it was awesome. We shopped and made mountain dew cake and jammed on electric guitar and bass. Oh and then suddenly, out of the blue, dawn walks in.
I may or may not have attacked her. I mean jeez, I never get to see her and then I she was there.
It was awesome. Thank you golden and dawn for cooking that up.
It’s weird how dawn and I live in the same city yet we only see each other so rarely. It’s almost like we live in different states. Ugh, I wish I weren’t always so busy…
Continuing the narrative, stuff (and by stuff I mean watching all of the most popular girls in school) happened and then it was morning and there was snow so we went for a walk. It was a little cold. Even colder when I rolled down a hill. I don’t recommend it.
Also we sorta write BAD WOLF in the snow on the tennis court nearby, so if you happen to be flying over a school tennis court and see that… We did it.
Anyway more stuff (lots of guitar, food and adventure time) happened and then my day sort of digressed into golden and myself lying on the floor writing some songs. In spanish. It’s a little crazy. I mean I’d give a little excerpt, but it’s all just too beautiful. Perhaps another day. We’ll have to record it.
Skips to now.
As I mentioned I need to write an essay about Enjolras and Grantaire, so I kinda need to buy the Brick (the original translated les mis novel. it’s seriously a brick) for quotes and research.
And then out of the blue, my mum says “hey a new half-priced books is opening near our house, we should go tomorrow.”
woah. heck yes.
Ima be all badass selling all (6) of my books that I don’t love. And then, hopefully, I will buy a copy of the brick.
I really hope they have it, though I’m not too hopeful…
But ideally, i’ll be able to get a gently used copy published in the 70s or 80s. I just really like old, used books. They make me happy.
Dork phan idolizes her 1980s, yellowed edition of the phantom of the opera. It’s just so wonderous.
so. big day.
I should go write some more songs.
