So I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it, but my brother, the fabulous MagicLlama works for Ponyinabox Productions as their “executive administrator.” That’s a fancy way of saying he’s their intern and jack-of-all-trades. He mostly just arranges stuff and does i-don’t-even-know. All I ever see him do is screw around around with them all on skype.

But whatever, he’s still up there in the people who run it soooooo

He’s been asked to help host the PiB panel at this summer’s bronycon in baltimore.

Let me repeat that.

HE’S BEEN ASKED TO HOST A PANEL AT BRONYCON.

I guess I never really realized how high up in the ranks of the brony world he’s gotten… He’s like a professional pre-reader and editor and he’s involved in TtEoAP and PiB.

And here’s the kicker.

My mum is considering taking him. SHE MIGHT TAKE HIM TO BRONYCON.

And here’s the stinger.

I WOULD NOT BE GOING.

It’s like they didn’t even consider me. They just say “oh, she’ll be at camp.”

… what the heck. I won’t even be paid and I do have summer homework. I might be there three scattered weeks tops.

Camp. I love camp but it lives to conflict with everything else in my summers.

Another rather sad example is that the summer after next I’ll be old enough to actually be a legit employee at the camp and get paid (for now I can only volunteer, but whatever it’s camp for free) will also be the summer after my brother graduates, so my family is sorta planning a big trip to Europe that summer.

Figures. I’m finally able to work and be paid and spend all summer at camp and I have to go to Europe.

Okay that was phrased wrong.

I just really want to do both. So much. And they would probably conflict. Going to Europe has always been a life dream of mine, but working at camp all summer has also become a dream. It’ll be my first job, it’s exciting okay!

But I’m mostly just really pissed that my brother might get to go to Bronycon without me.

nah. well i mean my brother has made a point of saying he doesn’t want me there which is both very hurtful and kinda rude and stupid. there’s literally nothing but him stopping me from going. so… bleh. stupid brothers.
